A Deep Dive into ESFT (Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy) is a peer consult group that will meet once a month for 9 sessions. Each group session meets for ninety minutes. This group will focus on the development of skills in and application of the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy model, especially as it pertains to in-home therapy work and family therapy sessions. The Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy model can be utilized to address trauma, generational patterns, maladaptive patterns of interaction, and relationship-based cycles that contribute to persistent challenges in the family system. Using real-time cases in a "roundtable" presentation format, this group will help participants gain skills in ESFT, explore new ways to handle difficult cases,  offer peer guidance and support, and will help enhance the clinician's toolbox out in the field. The goal is to have each participant present on a case each month, and the facilitator will help guide the supervision session using the application of ESFT and drawing from other clinician's lived experience.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be better able to:

Learning Objective 1: Participants will gain increased insight and identify five ways that the ESFT model can be effective with families stuck in maladaptive, negative, or traumatic patterns
Learning Objective 2: Participants will be able to use 3-5 new skills from ESFT in both individual and family sessions.
Learning Objective 3: Participants will understand 3 elements to the theory of change according so ESFT so that clinicians can align with families and create movement in the therapy process.

1-1:15: Review of previous topic and introduction to current topic                                                                                                         1:15-1:30: Discussion of theory of change within ESFT
