INDIVIDUAL RETROACTIVE MFT CEU APPLICANTS: 

We encourage individual applicants to advocate for sponsors to include LMFTs in their CE offerings. In cases where they have not, NEAFAST strives to approve qualifying individual retroactive applications in a timely manner to ensure clinicians have ample time to prepare for renewal. However, NEAFAST cannot guarantee approval and may not be able to process an application prior to the renewal deadline if it is submitted after November 15th of an odd year. It is applicants’ responsibility to monitor for approval and apply for an application extension with the Allied Mental Health Board as needed. 

INDIVIDUAL RETROACTIVE FEES AND REQUIREMENTS:

All individuals applying for retroactive CEUs MUST complete the retroactive CE application to ensure criteria have been met for approval. For more information about approval criteria for programs please click here and for general information about license renewal please click here.

Beginning January 1st, 2026 (the beginning of the 2026-2027 renewal period) all retroactive CE applications must be received within the same calendar year as the training to be considered for approval. NEAFAST will not approve retroactive CE applications for programs completed before the current 2024-2025 renewal window.

Please allow 6 weeks for processing of all CE’s and 3 weeks for expedited applications.

NEAFAST CANNOT GUARANTEE EXPEDITED APPLICATIONS WILL BE APPROVED OR APPROVED PRIOR TO RENEWAL DEADLINES.

ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED IF CE CREDIT IS DENIED.
